Certified Organic by MOFGA and grown regeneratively by one of the Meeting House Farm Collaborative Farms.    

Extracts are a 1:2 ratio of Fresh Aerial Parts in Alcohol. Ingredients: Agastache foeniculum*‡, Distilled Maine Alcohol*, Spring water. // *certified organic, ‡grown at Meeting House Farm.

Plants are dried immediately after harvest in an on-farm organic certified drying facility to maximize potency and preserve quality.

A selection of 1 lb dried botanicals is considered a pre-order.  It may be ordered in advance and will be shipped directly from Meeting House Herb farm once it is grown, harvested and dried.  Orders are shipped in the order they are received.  Pre-Orders are always filled first before being listed in our online farmer's market.

We typically harvest Anise Hyssop from June -September.

In the Apothecary:

Preparations:  Extract of fresh leaf and flower in alcohol or infusion of fresh or dried leaf & flower in water.  We use a 1:2 ratio for fresh leaf when extracting at Meeting House Farm.

Uses:  Digestive system support.  Expectorant with a distinctive anise flavor. This cooling herb is a wonderful addition to cough blends or digestive blends.

From our Experience:

Beloved by our native bees.  Dried purple anise flowers are a beautiful accent to herbal tea (tisane) blends.  This herb combines well with Holy Basil, Lemon Balm, Mint or Elecampane
