Artemisia absinthium

Certified Organic by MOFGA and grown regeneratively by one of the Meeting House Farm Collaborative Farms. Plants are dried immediately after harvest in an on-farm organic certified drying facility to maximize potency and preserve quality.

A selection of 1 lb dried botanicals is considered a pre-order.  It may be ordered in advance and will be shipped directly from Meeting House Herb farm once it is grown, harvested and dried.  Orders are shipped in the order they are received.  Pre-Orders are always filled first before being listed in our online farmer's market.

We typically harvest Absinthe/Wormwood in July.

In the Apothecary:

Preparations: extract of dried or fresh leaf.

Uses: Digestive support. 

Energetics: Warming

Tastes: bitter

Herbal Action:  digestive

From our Experience:

We don't typically blend this beauty into tea. Use it sparingly in extract form.
