Green Path Family Farm in Topsham, Maine

Denise and Cory Weaver steward Green Path Family Farm, a multigenerational farm in Topsham, Maine. The land has been in the family for over 30 years, originally a clear-cut expanse that Cory’s parents nurtured, building homes and sharing parcels with extended family. The farm’s name, "The Green Path," comes from a cherished wooden pathway lined with high-bush blueberries that once led to Cory’s grandparents’ home. Today, the farm flourishes within a young forest of birch trees, vernal pools, and a recently added pond that supports local pollinators and wildlife.

At Green Path Family Farm, Denise and her family practice organic and regenerative farming with minimal earth disturbance. Farming is in their blood, a tradition passed down through generations. Their work is fueled by a passion for self-sufficiency and a desire to teach their children and young friends how to grow and use their own food and medicine.

Denise and Cory’s farm mission is to provide high-quality herbs to the community for nutritious meals and potent herbal remedies. A unique aspect of Green Path Family Farm is its multigenerational approach, where their grandmother, parents, children, nephews, and friends all participate in cultivating a deep respect for the land and its cycles. Through dedication, hard work, and a deep respect for the earth, Green Path Family Farm has become a place where people not only grow food and medicine, but also grow stronger connections to each other and to the world around them.
